MOT Pre-Checks
How often have you taken your vehicle for an MOT and ended up spending more time and money than you actually wanted to?
Chris Edwards Motors can save you that extra time cost by performing an MOT pre-check on your vehicle.
Our pre-check includes all areas covered by the MOT inspection.
Our charge for this service is £17.50 +vat [equal to half an hour labour]
The MOT options we offer are:
[1] MOT pre-check + MOT Inspection
- Pre-check performed by Chris Edwards Motors
- Results of pre-check reported to owner including cost if work is required prior to MOT inspection
- Perform repairs as required
- Take vehicle for MOT [at approved testing station] and return to our premises for collection by owner.

[2] MOT ONLY

Take vehicle for MOT [at approved testing station] and return to our premises for collection by owner.

In the event that the vehicle fails the MOT test we will advise the cause and cost to repair and return it to the MOT station for a further test.
[Please note: it is a requirement of the DVLA that once a failure notice has been issued the vehicle must undergo a further full MOT inspection at the standard cost of a full MOT]
